Oneself in all forms
Jayaprakash's paintings are a culmination of soft curves that come together - free of straight lines. His work proposes a kinder approach to the way we treat the tiger through the gentle stroke one reserves for a pet, which is embodied in the single unbroken curve running from the tiger's head to the tip of its tail all with one swift move. Entering into a meditative state of awareness, he begins his work metamorphosing into his tiger, which is visible in its soft human-like eyes, in its hands, or its single human foot; taking the form of a human yet staying true to the beauty of a tiger. His rendition of the stealthy feline form is truly universal!
